Kitchen & bath plumbing for remodels — North Shore
Rough plumbing for renovations and additions. Done to code, done once.
When your contractor opens the walls, the plumbing decisions you make matter for the next 20 years. Shane handles the rough plumbing on kitchen and bath remodels — drains, supplies, vents, valves, fixtures. Coordinated cleanly with your GC, your electrician, and your tile setter.
What we handle
Full bathroom remodel
Tub-to-shower conversion, new vanity, toilet, shower trim, supply and waste re-route. Coordinated with the tile schedule.
Full kitchen remodel
Sink, dishwasher, disposal, ice-maker line, gas range hookup. Layout-stage consult to make sure the plumbing plan actually works with the cabinets.
Adding a bathroom or laundry
Half-bath, full bath, or laundry room added to an existing home. New stack ties, supply and drain re-routes, pressure check before close-up.
Fixture upgrades
Replacing a tub, vanity, toilet, or shower trim without a full remodel. Most done in a day.
Permits and inspections
All remodel plumbing is permitted and inspected. We handle the paperwork and the inspector visit.
Questions homeowners ask about remodel plumbing
When does the plumber come into a kitchen or bath remodel?
Twice. The first visit is the rough plumbing, before walls and floors are closed: supply lines, drains, vents and valves. The second is the finish work, after the cabinets, tile and fixtures are in. Layout and fixture decisions have to be made before the rough-in, because moving a drain later means opening finished walls.
What should I decide before the rough plumbing?
- Where each sink, tub, shower, toilet and appliance will go.
- The fixtures themselves: their spec sheets give the rough-in dimensions the plumber works from.
- The type of shower valve and trim you want.
- Any extras: a dishwasher, disposal, ice-maker line, gas range or a second sink.
- Whether you are adding a bathroom or laundry, which means new drain and vent connections.
If the fixtures are not chosen yet, say so. Plumbing decisions made early save changes after the walls are closed.
